Departure from the hotel at approx. time 07.00 and drive for approx. 60 km in northern direction to Bang Pa-In. Here visit the Summer Palace, which was restored by King Rama V in the mid-19th century.
It is set in a large park with ponds and waterways. Go on to Ayutthaya, the ancient city and former capital for over 400 years and destroyed by the Burmese in 1767. You will see both, the ruins and remaining historical attractions like the Wat Mahatat or Wat Lokayasutharam with the largest reclining Buddha Image. Later it is time to board the River Sun Cruise.
Take your buffet lunch and enyoy the river cruise on the Chao Phya River back to the capital. Arrival by late afternoon and transfer to the hotel. Tour available only by joining the group. Priavte tour to Ayutthaya possible, but by road only and without River Sun Cruise.
